BC First Nations Jurisdiction Over Child & Family Services
We are now in Phase Three of the First Nations Leadership Council Child and Family Wellbeing Engagement Sessions.
Throughout Phases One and Two, we have heard from participants that sharing best practices is a crucial step in standing up First Nations jurisdiction of child and family wellbeing services across BC.
In Phase Three we are bringing First Nation presenters from around BC and Canada to speak about their work in standing up jurisdiction of Child and Family wellbeing. Presentations will be hosted in the morning and breakout group discussions will be hosted in the afternoon.

- Nipawi Kikanisoot – Treaty 8 Hereditary Chief and Youth Presenter
